Barca Revel In Landslide Win

Fresh off their sensational 5-0 defeat of Almeria, Barca's players have spoken to reporters and emphasised the continual need for humility and hard work.

The inevitable comparisons to the 'Dream Team' did not take long to crop up, but Xavi was quick to quell such talk, saying: "The Dream Team is incomparable right now. There is a lot of hard work ahead, and teams are judged by titles, which we have not won yet."

Daniel Alves, who scored his first goal for his new club from an exceptional free kick, explained the victory, stating: "We play very well with the ball and pressure the opposition when we don't have it, which make it difficult for them."

When asked if there was an element of luck to some of the goals, Lionel Messi, who was instrumental in the success despite not scoring, claimed: " Fortune favours the brave. We only get lucky if we seek goals."

Finally, hat-trick hero and new pichichi for La Liga, Samuel Eto'o, said: "Xavi and Messi made it very easy for me to score. We play to score goals, but all I concentrate on his hard work and helping my team-mates win. The best part was the happiness with which we played."

When asked if the recent run was simply a case of Barca bullying weaker teams, the Cameroonian explained that Barca must beat every team to win the league, as each match is worth three points.
